Job Title: Technical Lead Detail Design

The Technical Lead Detail Design working closely with the Senior Team Lead will be responsible for preparing 3D modeling designs interpreting drawings ensuring alignment with requirements and guiding the design team throughout the process to maintain regulatory compliance and meet approval standards.
Job Responsibilities: - Applying technical leadership and expertise to provide advice and guidance to other professionals within project/team.
- Using the programme delivery plan working with the Team Lead using technical expertise to prioritise team activities ensuring schedule and costeffective working is delivered alongside quality expectations.
- Deploying high expertise in engineering toolsets including CAD and information management tools to deliver complex design activities through to completion.
- Effectively escalating where appropriate complex design issues and advising Detail Design Management on proposed technical resolutions where there is an impact to predicted programme delivery plan.
- Checking assurance and signing off on engineering deliverables and outputs against standards rules and regulatory requirements.
- Working within mandated design constraints such as design rules and acceptance requirements and manage nonadherence through the correct process.
- Contributing to technical governance in line with Quality Management process through the checking of all engineering outputs (Including BOM) this may include delegation of associated tasks.
- Assisting the customer through the approval process as compartment or system owners for spatial design.
Required Skills: - Completion of vocational training (Apprenticeship Vocational Qualifications) or the equivalent experience
- Considerable experience in engineering or technical role
- Experience of largescale engineering projects
- Specialist technical knowledge and a broad experience of processes data systems and the business environment
- Competent in processes procedures and standards related to detail design.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical instructions.
- Ability to communicate & exchange ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong client/customer communication skills
