Salary Level HEW 6 17% Superannuation
Based at Bundoora or Melbourne CBD campus and hybrid ways of working. May be to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University.
About the role
As the WIL Senior Officer you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and client service support for the purpose of sourcing and allocating appropriate WIL placement activities for courses delivered within the STEM College.
The role will be responsible for providing coordination advice support and services to a range of university stakeholders to enable the delivery of university outcomes. This role will undertake activities such as establishing placements supporting students responding to student enquiries verifying of preplacement mandatory requirements maintaining data on the InPlace CRM system and other administrative tasks.
This role will be a key contact within the STEM College WIL Team working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific disciplines. It will also support the review and improvement of administrative activities within the team as well as continuous improvement of WIL procedures and processes. You will foster a collaborative team culture proactively supporting team members.
This role may occasionally be required to work nonstandard hours to meet critical deadlines and leave restrictions will apply during peak periods.

To be successful in this position you will have:
Demonstrated communication relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff students and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of high quality professional administrative services (experience with WIL will be an advantage).
Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills including an ability to work independently think creatively and exercise judgement to make decisions in a dynamic environment to drive business efficiencies.
Proven ability to organise and priortise tasks work to deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.
Demonstrated ability to show initiative work independently and meet deadlines in a demanding highvolume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Highlevel of proficiency in computer software packages with a focus on effectiveness accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to source and learn new skills.

The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities. Centralised in the STEM College Office at our City and Bundoora campuses professional staff members have opportunities to cross skill engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
