Job Description
Schedule:
- Mon Fri 9am 5pm
- Overtime based on business needs
- Oncall rotation required
What you will do:
As a Medical Device Driver you will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of products/services for our representatives and customers.
- Prepare ship receive and schedule delivery of products; ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets; field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel
- Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
- Read maps and route configuration
- Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
- Load unload or stack containers materials or products
- Create and/or review lists of delivery and pickups
- Record transactions and issues on customer receipts
- Provide customer service in surface transportation
- Field customer complaints address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members
- Performs and/or schedules preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle (fuel fluid levels tires etc.) and keeps accurate maintenance records
- Advises supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
- Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
- Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record
What you need:
Required
- Possess a valid drivers license with no restrictions
- Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support the business needs including weekend(s) and evening(s) as needed
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year driver/ courier experience in a customerfacing environment
- Ideal candidate resides within 45 minutes of this Ft. Myers FL location
