Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and versatile Strategic Finance Intern to support both operational and strategic decisionmaking across finance supply chain and corporate development. This role combines financial modeling market forecasting and process analysis with exposure to M&A activities and longrange planning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in market forecasting by analyzing correlation trends among CRU indices crude oil and scrap prices
  • Analyze historical industry indicators and assess their relationship to internal sales trends

  • Build out a 6month leading indicator for the market
  • Demand forecast model
  • Research other data points that could correlate to steel usage
  • Process analyst reviewing reconciliation processesclosing processes and documenting procedures
  • DCF model
  • P&L Model Reviews
  • Baseline model for acquisitions
  • Analyze different financial procedures working with finance team and ERP team
  • M&A process model review and if in a current acquisition full diligence/integration process review

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance Accouting Business or a related field.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
