Job Description

This position provides administrative and secretarial support to Hershey Country Clubs General Manager Membership Sales Manager and Director of Food & Beverage.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Answer telephone calls and take messages

  • Greet visitors to the HCC Administrative Office

  • Receive and organize correspondence. Compose type and distribute letters memos and reports including donation requests guest complaints/questions and staff and Operating Committee meeting minutes

  • Perform clerical duties such as filing copying documents faxing referencing information in files etc.

  • Compile and edit monthly member newsletter

  • Track schedules for managers

  • Order flowers and process purchase orders

  • Issue gift certificates

  • Coordinate members guest rooms reservations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma. Formal secretarial training preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate effective time management and organization skills.

  • Ability to work with Lotus Google Suite and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Job Demands:

  • Physical requirements include communicating clearly sitting for long periods of time reaching repetitive motion viewing a computer screen and finger dexterity.

  • Regular schedule includes Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
