As Moderna continues to scale its international Enterprise Solutions Hub (MESH) in Warsaw we are seeking a Principal Analyst FP&A to join our global Finance team. This individual contributor will work crossfunctionally with Commercial and Medical colleagues serving as a critical partner for planning reporting and analytics. With a focus on process optimization and automation the role offers a unique opportunity to shape how performance data and financial forecasting are delivered across Modernas highgrowth ecosystem. Ideal for a handson financial professional with strong analytical skills and experience in dynamic business environments this role also opens the door to collaborate with global teams and integrate closely with transformative digital toolsincluding Generative AI solutions for data management and visualization.

Heres What Youll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Designing and maintaining standardized financial reporting frameworks across regions.

• Building dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI Tableau or Looker.

• Driving monthly and quarterly performance tracking variance analysis and actuals refresh cycles.

• Leading OPEX reporting for global and marketlevel insights ensuring standardized methodologies.

• Managing endtoend data integration and uploads in enterprise systems (EPM Workday etc.).

• Creating financial templates that support scalable forecasting and business planning.

• Leading data loading processes into EPM for sales and OPEX planning.

• Supporting monthend and quarterend accrual management in line with accounting guidance.

• Partnering with FBPs to ensure consistency PO accuracy and cost center alignment.

• Collaborating with teams to evolve financial systems and ensure high data integrity.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Automating manual financial reporting and forecasting processes for greater efficiency.

• Creating highimpact visual presentations that communicate actionable financial insights.

• Leading adhoc and complex financial modeling projects from concept to delivery.

• Supporting template innovation and continuous improvement across the global FP&A landscape.

• Acting as a key liaison between the MESH center and global Commercial/Medical finance teams.

• Evaluating and embedding digital tools including generative AI to enhance analytical capabilities.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

Technical and Analytical Proficiency:

• Advanced Excel: Mastery of Excel for creating dynamic forecasting models including templates that handle complex calculations

• SQL/Python/R: Knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages to extract transform and analyze data. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data analytics a plus

• Business Planning Tools: Experience using EPM and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle EPM Cloud (Former onpremises Hyperion)) to support business planning efforts. Experience with SmartView is highly desired. Deep understanding of role in the financial planning process of objects such as Cost Centers Profit Centers Internal Orders or WBSs

• BI Visual Analytics and Data Transformation Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Power Query) to transform data create and manage dashboards and reports

• Strong Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze large datasets identify trends and derive actionable insights that impact business outcomes

• AI: Experience in applying AI for resolving coding and data transformation challenges is a plus
