Job Description

Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaalgebied (OD NZKG) is currently seeking a skilled Adviseur Bodembescherming to join the R&E Regulering Bodem team. This temporary assignment will support the agencys regulatory efforts in soil protection environmental compliance and sustainability.

As an advisor you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert insight on soilrelated regulations ensure enforcement and monitoring are up to standard and help guide strategic environmental decisions affecting the Noordzeekanaalgebied.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on regulations and legislation related to soil protection.

• Support assessments and evaluations of soil contamination or remediation activities.

• Prepare reports policy recommendations and technical guidance.

• Liaise with municipalities contractors and environmental partners.

• Monitor compliance and contribute to enforcement strategies.

Requirements (Eisen)

• HBO or WO degree in Environmental Science Soil Science or a related field.

• Proven experience in Dutch soil protection regulations and environmental advisory roles.

• Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and permitting processes.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a public sector environment.

• Fluency in Dutch is required; professional proficiency in English is a plus.
