Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of lifechanging therapeutics.
The Analytical Development CoOp for Cytiva Nanomedicine is responsible for supporting projects to advance the development of LCMS based methods for the characterization of RNA Critical Quality Attributes. You will also assist in various Analytical activities required to support both internal and external programs being involved but not limited to the analysis of RNA peptides/proteins and lipids using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC MS).
This position is part of the Biopharma Services team located in Vancouver BC and will be onsite. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What youll do:
- Refer to available literature to prepare study plans and participate in experimental design problemsolving and technical discussions.
- Use analytical routine techniques to characterize nanoparticle formulations.
- Prepare Reports and technical presentations.
- Assist with daily tasks in the lab such as maintenance buffer preparation ordering etc.
Who you are:
- A student studying Analytical Chemistry Life Sciences Pharmaceutical Sciences Biotechnology Chemical or Biological Engineering with a background of handson experience in the laboratory.
- General knowledge of analytical or bioassay techniques.
- Experience with standard analytical and/or molecular biology techniques such as chromatography gel electrophoresis etc. is an asset.
- Resourceful flexible detailoriented organized and with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work both as a team and independently with minimum supervision.
The annual salary range for this role is $CAD/year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
