Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of clinical simulation lab
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during simulations
- Assure facility and equipment are organized and prepared for teaching sessions by preassembly of props moulage learning materials and documentation
- Operate simulation console and software audio/visual equipment debriefing equipment and human patient simulator
- Assist faculty in monitoring students safety
- Provide theatrical support including moulage and voice over
- Provide feedback for improving simulation experience
- Maintain a clean and safe simulation lab to promote an optimal learning environment
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance
- Salvage reusable supplies and repackage
- Monitor and maintain organization of supply stock
- Communicate with Simulation Resource Facilitator to promote
Work hours:
- 58 hour shifts during daytime hours
- Weekdays only
- Expectation of 1 day per week when classes are in session
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical healthcare setting healthcare simulation or information technology is highly desirable
- Ability to work with various and changing technology
- Selfdirected with an ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Technical skills in operating and troubleshooting complex equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and students
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 pounds
