The Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School is currently accepting applications for a Longterm Substitute History Teacher from the start of theschool year in August through midNovember with the possibility of the position being extended until January 2026. Teachers and Staff Members at Advanced Math and Science Academy will:Focus intensely on increasing academic achievement content knowledge and character growth for all inspiring challenging and effective teaching and learning experiences for all our committed to serving all students including English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities in the context of the regular education classroom using a variety of inclusion to a strong and supportive professional learning Responsibilities:The Long Term Substitute History teacher will:Teach several sections of high school world and/or U.S. collaboratively with other staff to implement curriculum and build school culture across the with administration to uphold and support all school policies and responsibilities as assigned in helping to maintain a safe and orderly school environment (i.e. traffic and/or lunch duties.)Qualifications:Strong commitment to Advanced Math and Science Academys mission values and educational to collaborate work well under pressure and maintain a sense of humor and degree in history is required; Masters degree is in teaching history is in history (grades 512) by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred.
