Position Overview:

Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a dedicated Director of Membership Sales to play a starring role in growing the clubs new business efforts! This role will be integral to shaping our sales strategy at Solider Field and any future home of the Fire. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience innovative thinking and expertise in driving sales and culture. The Director will execute complex sales campaigns attend appointments close deals run dynamic training sessions and create a bestinclass culture centered around results and personal & professional improvement. This role will report to the Vice President Ticket Sales & Service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales strategy and execution for membership and partial plan sales
  • Recruit hire manage and develop a bestinclass new business team
  • Develop lead and inspire a culture of results personal & professional growth and collaboration
  • Lead the planning and implementation of all outbound sales efforts including lead scoring & assignment product launches campaign design & management and sales events for all premium leased products
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with operations and marketing to optimize membership experience both on and off the pitch
  • Create and implement sales campaigns targeting different audiences
  • Drive performance with a focus on achieving longterm membership sales
  • Develop the membership sales journey appointment process and closing strategy
  • Work closely with the Manager of Inside Sales to continue developing the current sales teams
  • Collaborate with the CRM team to maintain accurate customer and prospective customer records in our database and distribute leads in an efficient and strategic manner
  • Manage the department budget ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Provide consistent reporting information by maintaining accurate daily weekly and overall updates of sales outbound metrics and event recaps
  • Represent the Chicago Fire FC at all home matches and various events to support ticket sales and premium efforts
  • Completion of other duties as assigned with a teamplayer mindset

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in ticket sales with a proven track record in leading high performing team and successful sales campaigns
  • 2 years of experience in people management with a history of developing talent into senior level sales and leadership positions
  • History of top Premium/B2B revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organization
  • Strong leadership experience in directing and motivating a team particularly in a high growth or transformative environment
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a teamfirst mentality
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue and customer engagement
  • Proven success of fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders including corporate partnerships sponsors and the community
  • Strong oral and written communications skills. This includes speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations listening possessing excellent group presentation skills and being willing to participate in meetings actively
  • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings with ability to effectively pitch and present premium and ticketing products
  • Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market
  • Expertise in CRM Systems and ticketing systems; ability to analyze and act on sales data effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple highpriority projects simultaneously with strong organization and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates flexibility and creative problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours in nontraditional settings. This includes all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business Sports Management or a related field
  • Experience using Archtics and Salesforce
  • Experience with the opening of a new stadium or arena including developing and executing earlystage sales strategies
