Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to join our 737 Quality team in Seattle WA.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leading change inspiring others and challenging the status quo in this role you will be driving improvements within the program to ensure teams are prepared for and continuously improving with the goal of zero injuries zero defects and zero FOD.

The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do toward that end develop our teams and integrate across organizations and the enterprise. The selected candidate will be Leading and mentoring a team of managers with employees performing a variety of quality functions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees and firstlevel managers that ensure products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.
• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
• Manages develops and motivates employees and firstlevel managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives managers customers stakeholders peers and business partners.
• 5 years experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
• 5 years experience leading and influencing people in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing organization.
• Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
• Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.
• Experience with Quality Core functions
• Experience with the One BPS system
• The ability to manage develop and motivate employees.
• Experience completing processoriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.
• Selfstarter who creates and implements jobrelated solutions and procedures.
• Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving.
• Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive Relationship Ethical Leadership.
• Demonstrated skills in Team Building Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.
