SUMMARY
Coordinate the movement staging and tracking of laminate rolls within the production area to support downstream processes and maintain efficient production flow. Ensure correct material is staged and identified per production order requirements. Collaborate with multiple departments and shifts to support continuous operation and accurate material handling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport laminate rolls to and from work centers using proper handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks roll carts).
Accurately label and stage rolls for processing based on production schedules.
Maintain roll inventory and coordinate roll returns or hold status when needed.
Perform daily inspections on roll handling equipment and report any issues.
Communicate material flow needs and updates to Production Control and shift leads.
Document roll movement staging and inventory transactions using appropriate logs or ERP systems.
Support the handoff of roll coordination responsibilities across shifts.
Maintain a clean and organized staging area.
Assist operators with rollrelated setups as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
Basic computer and inventory tracking system experience is a plus.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
Ability to read and interpret production orders and work instructions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read write and verbally communicate effectively in the English language is required for all roles.
REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING
AGC follows all required OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standard industry guidelines in regard to the use of personal protective equipment and safety training required for the specific job function.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Ability to stand walk sit and use hands to handle or move materials.
Reach and lift with hands and arms; lift/move/carry objects up to 50 lbs.
Climb stairs stoop kneel and crouch as needed.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly for communication and safety.
Visual ability required for reading labels staging orders and safe equipment use.
WORK SCHEDULE/OVERTIME
2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Overtime as required. Business needs may vary.
