AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Overseeing the architecture deployment and maintenance of cyber defense platforms and tools used within the CYOC.
- System Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of various cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM systems threat intelligence platforms and security automation tools.
- Infrastructure Support: Providing advanced support for the underlying infrastructure including servers networks and storage systems to ensure high availability and performance of cybersecurity operations.
- Automation and Scripting: Developing and implementing automation scripts and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of cybersecurity platforms to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Security Compliance: Ensuring that all platforms and systems comply with organizational security policies standards and regulatory requirements.
- Incident Response Support: Providing technical expertise and support during cybersecurity incidents including forensic analysis and system recovery.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for platforms configurations procedures and processes.
Required Clearance:
TS/SCI (#tssci)
Required Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity Technologies: Indepth knowledge of cybersecurity platforms and tools including SIEM IDS/IPS endpoint protection and threat intelligence solutions.
- System Administration: Proficiency in system administration tasks for both Windows and Unix/Linux environments including configuration patch management and troubleshooting.
- Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Bash to automate routine tasks and processes.
- Network Knowledge: Understanding of network protocols architectures and security measures to support the cyber defense infrastructure.
- SeniorLevel Experience: Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on cybersecurity platforms and systems.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or vendorspecific certifications (e.g. Cisco Microsoft VMware) would be advantageous.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects related to the deployment and optimization of cybersecurity technologies.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to address complex technical challenges and improve system performance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with US STRATCOM Network & IT Operations
- Familiarity with US Air Force Network & IT Operations
Our Senior Cyber Operations Center Platform Engineers earn between
$78800 $170980. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
