Monitor the performance and health of servers applications databases and storage systems.
Ensure system availability and stability through proactive monitoring and incident response.
Detect analyze troubleshoot and document IT faults in accordance with organizational standards.
Utilize standard tools for managing incidents problems requests and changes.
Escalate unresolved or highimpact issues to the oncall team or Escalation Manager as per guidelines.
Provide afterhours support when issues occur outside normal service windows.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to server operations security and data privacy.
Deliver technical support to endusers resolving clientserver related issues promptly.
Job Requirements:
Diploma Degree or equivalent professional training in Computer Science or related field.
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and provide user support.
Prior experience as a data center or systems operator.
Handson experience with UNIX and Windows systems and commandline tools.
Familiar with ServiceNow Dynatrace Tivoli and UC4.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook and Teams.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation schedule.
Familiarity with basic understanding of UNIX infrastructure and operational workflows experience in handling interpreting and responding of UNIX related alarms through trouble ticket systems.
Ability to interpret and respond to UNIX system alerts.
Knowledge of essential Windows commands to assess server status.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot different types of Windows error alerts.
Proficient in using Windows OS for daily operations
Experience handling Windowsrelated alarms and events via ticketing systems.
Understanding of Windows infrastructure components.
