Job Title: MOT Tester / Technician
Salary:per annum (depending on experience annual bonus)
Location: Abingdon Oxfordshire
We are seeking an experienced and qualified MOT Tester / Technician to join a wellestablished independent garage based in Abingdon. About the Role
In this role youll be responsible for carrying out MOT tests (Classes 4 5 and 7) as well as diagnosing servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles. Youll be expected to work independently and efficiently while maintaining the high standards the garage is known for. This is a handson role suited to someone who thrives in a busy but wellorganised environment.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
- No weekend work required
- Annual bonus scheme offered
- Must have own tools
Key Duties
- Carrying out MOT tests for Classes 4 5 and 7 in accordance with DVSA standards
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and Electrical faults across all vehicles makes and models
- Performing servicing and general maintenance
- Using diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately
- Keeping clear and accurate job records
- Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
Key Requirements
- Valid MOT Testing Licence covering Classes 4 5 and 7
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Hybrid/EV qualification desirable
- A minimum of 8 years UKbased experience in the automotive sector
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
