Vehicle Technician

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who knows their way around engines and diagnostics not just someone who can follow a checklist but someone who genuinely enjoys getting stuck into the mechanics of the job. About the role:

Youll be handling a varied workload that goes beyond the standard service bay routine. From diagnostics and servicing to more complex repair work youll be working on both everyday vehicles and highperformance motors. No two days are the same here and your input will genuinely matter this isnt the kind of place where youre just a number. Youll have access to topoftheline tools and be trusted to take ownership of your work with support from a friendly and knowledgeable team.

About the client:

Our client is a highly regarded and longrunning specialist garage with deep roots in British automotive heritage. A family run independent garage established for almost 40 years their name is known in car circles for quality workmanship and attention to detail and theyve built a loyal customer base through honesty expertise and a real passion for what they do. The workshop environment is relaxed but professional and the team are all about supporting one another to get the job done right.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am 5:30

Key duties:

  • Carrying out servicing repairs and diagnostics on a range of vehicles
  • Working on both modern and classic cars including performance models
  • Faultfinding and offering solutions not just fixes
  • Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring highquality workmanship
  • Collaborating with the wider team to keep things running smoothly

Key requirements:

  • Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
  • Confident with diagnostics and mechanical faultfinding
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in producing topstandard work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
