  • Hew 7 $101858 $% Superannuation (pro rata part time)

About the role:

This position will develop plan and implement the Librarys communications strategy and content to inform celebrate protect and enhance the Librarys services presence contribution and reputation among its key stakeholders and ensure that are closely aligned to the needs of clients as well as the Library and universitys strategic goals and direction.

The appointee will have strong communication skills to succeed in the role to coordinate write produce and disseminate communications collateral and design assets for various communication channels such as websites social media and newsletter.

As a Coordinator Library Content and Communications you will:

  • Ensuring content and design adheres to agreed standards timeframes Deakin brand and editorial style guides
  • Provide advice to stakeholders regarding communication matters that may also be associated with sensitivities or risk
  • Strive for excellence and consult regularly with stakeholders to clarify who requires the information the purpose for which it is required criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required
  • Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders or key and influential individuals both inside and outside the University

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience or experience in communications marketing or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge in a range of software including the Adobe Creative Suite in particular InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop WordPress other publishing software and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the production of digital content social media campaigns and blog articles in a complex and diverse organisation.
  • High level communication skills and experience in endtoend writing producing and distributing communications collateral including staff news feature stories social media content staff intranet reports plans correspondence and presentations.
  • Proven experience in coordinating communication strategies preferably within a high education environment as well as excellent project management skills.
