Job Description
Manage onsite construction activities ensuring full alignment with approved designs specifications and contractual obligations
Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed deadlines
Take responsibility for technical deliverables while maintaining compliance with GCC2015 SABS1200 and COLTO standards
Inspect materials dimensions and construction outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and match design documentation
Ensure all work complies with applicable laws environmental regulations safety standards and municipal bylaws
Enforce adherence to safety plans and environmental requirements to maintain project integrity and protect all personnel
Manage the acquisition of wayleaves and occupation permits to avoid delays and maintain project continuity
Liaise effectively with clients contractors and multidisciplinary teams using strong communication and interpersonal skills
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations offering insights and recommendations based on project progress and findings
The contract duration is 3 years
Your own vehicle is required
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8 10 years of relevant experience particularly in road infrastructure projects preferably SANRAL projects
Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD and Civil Designer for effective design interpretation and execution
Strong project planning organizational and task management abilities
Must be SANRAL approved
A thorough understanding of construction methodologies and technical specifications
Qualification:
BTech/Advanced Diploma or BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
