Job Description
Position: IT Business Application
Salary Range:USD
Location: Hai Duong
Reporting directly to Vietnamese Manager.
2 rounds of interviews: offline round with Vietnamese Manager and online round with US headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of all Business Applications (such as Manufacturing Execution System MES and Enterprise Resource Planning ERP) as well as providing timely resolution of userrelated issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to users by resolving a wide range of Business Application issues.
- Conduct training sessions for users on specific functions and modules within Business Applications.
- Process Optimization: Work collaboratively with Production Quality and Engineering teams to review and enhance manufacturing processes (e.g. BOM management scheduling quality assurance) through MESdriven solutions.
- Industry 4.0 Integration: Support smart manufacturing initiatives by integrating MES with technologies such as IoT AI machine learning and automation to enable advanced datadriven operations.
- Administer and manage Business Application environments (servers/cloud systems) to ensure stable and efficient operations including user account management master data maintenance system configurations landscape management update planning event/log monitoring and development of basic reports interfaces workflows and enhancements.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams (Production Quality Technical etc.) to gather requirements identify areas for improvement and design scalable technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with external consultants or vendors to ensure proper design development testing and deployment of custom modules or system functionalities.
- Coordinate with the Global IT Business Application team to ensure local systems align with global solution architecture standards manufacturing technology strategies and system integration guidelines.
- Execute additional tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the IT Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3 years as a Business Application Specialist managing the operation and maintenance of MES and ERP systems.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes such as BOM management production planning quality management MRP and relevant ERP/SAP S/4HANA modules (FICO MM PP QM SD PM HR etc.).
- Handson experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) Siemens Opcenter or Rockwell FactoryTalk focusing on areas like manufacturing master data management configuration automation execution and insights.
- Strong knowledge of integration tools and protocols (e.g. APIs REST) for connecting MES with IoT devices PLCs SCADA systems and other automation technologies to implement AI Machine Learning and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Indepth understanding of MES functionalities such as production tracking scheduling quality control inventory management and performance analysis.
- Experience with system integrations workflow management and using Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
- Proficient in technical writing and creating training materials for users.
- Proficient in English communication (both written and verbal).
- Industry certifications related to MES ERP SAP S/4HANA SAP Digital Manufacturing or similar systems are highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM 4:30 PM)
13th salary month bonus (April 30 September yearend bonus) salary increase twice a year based on evaluation (average increase 5%).
Probation period: 2 months 85% basic salary 100% allowance.
Annual leave: 12 days per year.
Insurance paid on full salary.
