As a key member of our Global CBC team youll be at the forefront of protecting Amazons ability to serve customers worldwide. This highvisibility position will lead and promote our proven business continuity framework providing innovative solutions and strategic guidance to the Kuiper program. Youll join a dynamic team of security and business continuity experts who work directly with business leaders to enhance organizational resilience.

Based in Seattle this role reports to the Global Head of CBC where youll have the platform to make a significant impact on Kuipers Business Continuity strategy while working with some of the industrys brightest minds.

Key job responsibilities
Lead development of ISO 22301 certification program
Drive risk assessments business impact analyses and BC plan development for satellite manufacturing and labs
Design and coordinate BC exercises including afteraction reporting
Support internal audit preparation to meet ISO certification requirements
Integrate common requirements across multiple ISO standards
Ensure alignment between BC capabilities and business objectives
Drive continuous improvement of BC processes and documentation


A day in the life
Your day begins with a project status meeting for the ISO 22301 certification program coordinating tasks and timelines with key stakeholders. Midmorning you facilitate business continuity training followed by a business impact analysis workshop with the satellite manufacturing team identifying critical functions impacts and recovery time objectives. After lunch you design an exercise scenario for the lab facilities incorporating recent risk assessment findings. Later you review and update BC plans for the manufacturing teams. You conclude your day by assessing supply chain risks and resiliency capabilities focusing on critical vendors and potential disruption scenarios.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
CBCP MBCI or similar certification
8 years in Business Continuity Management
Strong background in risk assessment and business impact analysis
Experience with ISO standards and certification processes
ISO 22301 lead auditor certification or equivalent
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills


Masters degree in Business Continuity Enterprise Risk Emergency Management or related field
Experience in satellite manufacturing or laboratory environments
Background in integrated management systems
Familiarity with multiple ISO standards ()

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
