Job Description

Position Summary:

The Office of International Programs at Rollins College is seeking a Graduate Assistant to join their team! TheGraduate Assistant in the Office of International Programs is a fully integrated member of the International Programs team assisting with ongoing work in the office with an emphasis on program management and administration and student outreach and advising. The Graduate Assistant will manage a portfolio of travelbased programs participate in class visits and other outreach activities serve as a general study abroad advisor and assist with projects to enhance and improve programming and student learning. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills an interest in international education and global learning and is willing to assist wherever necessary to ensure the success of the office.

Education Requirement:

Candidates interested in this role must be actively enrolled in a graduate degreeseeking program in order to qualify for this position and must remain actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program for the duration of their employment in this position.

Position Information:

Anticipated Employment Dates:August 11 to December 15 2025 and January 12 to May 8 2026. Exact start and end dates for each semester are for a second year for continuing graduate students.

Schedule:20 hours per week. The exact schedule will be determined by the supervisor and the selected candidate; however you must be able to work at least three days a week. Most hours are during regular business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm) but the GA does cover occasional weekend and evening events.

Work Environment:
Office setting and occasional bending/lifting/twisting.


Pay: The hourly pay rate is $15/hr. and there are no benefits associated with this position.
