POSITION OVERVIEW
- Under the direction of the Team Manager the Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical equipment and making repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshooting and repairs
- Machine adjustments with tools
- Minor fabrication of parts
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Read schematics and blueprints
- Preventive maintenance
- Product changeover
- Implement ideas to improve line efficiencies
- Quality checks
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal communication and team based skills.
- Being a selfstarter as well as a problemsolver are required assets.
- Be able to work a rotating 12 hour shift hours can vary.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work unscheduled overtime.
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Perform other duties as required.
