Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Solution Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team. In this role you will be responsible for understanding business needs designing technical solutions and collaborating with development teams to implement and deploy these solutions within our healthcare ecosystem. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation ensuring that our technology solutions align with our strategic goals. This is a fully remote position requiring a selfstarter with strong technical acumen excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a distributed team.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts product owners and stakeholders to understand business needs gather technical requirements and translate them into clear and concise technical specifications.
Solution Design: Design robust scalable and secure technical solutions that meet business requirements considering factors such as system integration data flow infrastructure and security.
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation including solution architecture diagrams data models interface specifications and deployment guides.
Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software development teams to provide technical guidance ensure adherence to architectural designs and troubleshoot technical challenges during the development lifecycle.
Integration Design and Implementation: Design and implement integrations between various systems and applications within the WeCare Medical Specialty Group ecosystem ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Proof of Concept (POC) and Prototyping: Develop POCs and prototypes to validate technical feasibility and demonstrate proposed solutions to stakeholders.
Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine their suitability for our needs and provide recommendations for adoption.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in existing systems and design solutions for optimal performance and scalability.
Security Considerations: Incorporate security best practices into all solution designs and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. HIPAA).
Deployment and Support: Assist with the deployment of new solutions and provide technical support to operations teams as needed.
Staying Current: Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest technology trends best practices and advancements in relevant domains.
Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues that arise during development implementation or operation of our systems.
Communication and Presentation: Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and nontechnical audiences through presentations and written reports.
Qualifications:
Work Permit/Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit allowing employment in the United States.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 35 years of professional experience as a Solution Engineer Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role involving solution design and implementation.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
Experience with designing and implementing solutions in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python C#) and scripting languages.
Experience with API design and development (REST SOAP).
Knowledge of database systems (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling principles.
Familiarity with integration technologies and patterns (e.g. message queues ESB).
Understanding of network protocols security principles and infrastructure components.
Healthcare Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with healthcare systems data standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR) and regulatory requirements (e.g. HIPAA) is a significant plus.
Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
SelfMotivation and Organization: Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
Learning Agility: A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical landscapes.
