Job Description
Professional Engineer Municipal and Land Development Projects (NJ PE Required)
Location: Woodbury New Jersey
Country: United States
Salary: $90K $120K
We are seeking a Professional Engineer to support a diverse range of municipal and land development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detailoriented individual to play a key role in delivering highquality engineering solutions to both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical analysis design calculations reports and cost estimates for a wide variety of projects.
- Typical project types include:
- Stormwater and utility design
- Roadway and site grading
- Water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Potable water storage systems
- Water distribution networks
- Pumping stations and sanitary sewer rehabilitation
- Coordinate and review the work of CAD technicians.
- Review plans and technical reports for submission to Planning and Zoning Boards.
- Lead and contribute to all aspects of design and regulatory permitting processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must possess a current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with HydroCAD and HECRAS required
- Experience with water distribution modeling is a strong plus
- Prior use of WaterCAD is a plus
- Demonstrated strength in permitting and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Selfmotivated and dependable with a proactive problemsolving approach
