Job Description
Were looking for a motivated and reliable Mitigation Technician to join our team in Longmont CO. This is a handson role for someone ready to assist with fire and water damage restoration projects across residential and commercial properties. If you work well with others can stay organized in challenging situations and take pride in helping people in times of crisis we want to meet you.
This role has strong potential to grow into a Lead Technician position for the right person who proves to be dependable teamfocused and professional in the field.
What Youll Do:
- Support the mitigation team with demolition drying equipment setup and cleanup
- Pack move and protect customer belongings when needed
- Assist in documentation of work completed including photos and job site notes
- Follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE
- Keep tools and equipment clean and organized
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and teammates
- Participate in an oncall rotation for weekend emergency work
- Other tasks as needed to support the mitigation team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in water/fire mitigation or general labor is preferred
- IICRC WRT certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (youll drive your personal vehicle to the Frederick shop then use a company vehicle for the day)
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs climbing ladders working in tight spaces
- Strong work ethic good attitude and team player mentality
- No visible face tattoos; professional appearance required
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (arrive by 6:45 AM)
- Occasional weekend oncall work (rotating schedule)
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25 $30/hr based on experience and certifications
