Job Description

Litigation Assistant

Our client is seeking a Litigation Assistant to support their Firm in Hartford Connecticut.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and communicating with clients court personnel and vendors.

  • Assist with scheduling in all matters of the Firm.

  • Court efilings.

  • Prepare and revise pleadings and documents.

  • Provide support to assigned attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years recent litigation secretarial and/or paralegal experience.

  • Associates degree and/or paralegal certification.

  • Highly organized and efficient with a proven ability to multitask.

  • Knowledge of document management electronic calendaring and PDF software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in an office setting.

  • Prior experience filing documents in federal and state courts.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook.
