TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

The Sports Performance Coach will work to optimize athletic performance decrease injury potential and implement flexibility/mobility programs into warmups lifting posttraining to ensure peak performance of athletesby overseeing the strength & conditioning program including scheduling program development rules and guidelines security & safety cleaning and maintenance of the weight room as well as identification of equipment needs and maintenance. The sports performance coach will also manage testing protocols to determine the effectiveness of strength and conditioning training plans.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level or higher.
• Bachelors Degree

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

• Masters Degree.

Coaching Assistant 12Month base salary: $6538$11642 monthly

Anticipated Budgeted Salary: $6538$7500 per month
