Job Description
Work Flexibility: Onsite
Stryker is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to join the growing team supporting further development of the greenfield manufacturing site in Skawina.
What will you do
- Supervise process safety for new projects
- Conduct training for employees related to the safety of new processes
- Participate in the occupational risk assessment process for newly designed works places
- Advise and work with the team on compliance monitoring to mitigate risks
- Risk analysis for new processes inspecting working conditions and compliance with health and safety rules and legal requirements for new workstations
- Analysis of near misses supervision of safety acceptance of new and transferred machinery
- Supervise fire and explosion safety for new processes
- Identify and oversee environmental permitting for new processes
- Supervise of subcontractors in terms of health safety and environmental protection
- Daily EHS activity on the plant.
What do you need
- Good knowledge of English to read technical documentation and communicate freely
- Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Higher technical education in occupational health and safety/environmental protection/environmental engineering/fire protection or related and postgraduate studies in occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of legal requirements for occupational health and safety fire safety and environmental protection
- Practical knowledge and skills in risk assessment methods
- Practical knowledge of process safety
- Practical knowledge of fire protection in particular ATEXrelated processes
