Job Description
Sturgeon County is looking for an Information Management Assistant Summer Student (also referred to as Records Management Technician with Service Canada) to assist with identifying and processing electronic records for destruction. Provide Quality Assurance for scanned records. Data entry into SharePoint and uploading of documents.
This position is partly funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years. Job Duties
- Assist with the identification of paper records for digitization.
- Provide Quality Assurance on digitized records.
- Processing inactive records.
- Data entry and uploading of files into SharePoint.
Job Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma is a minimum requirement with preference given to candidates with some related postsecondary education.
- Ability to provide exceptional internal and external customer service in a consistent and professional manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working both independently and in group settings.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Valid Alberta Class Five drivers license is required.
