The BIM Modeler II is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. A member of the production team that is expected to provide accurate and efficient modeling and deliverables from assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler I
Work with the Lead Modeler/Supervisor in developing Revit Families either for the revised standards or for a specific projects needs.
Will need to efficiently model and document theproject.
Perform layout and input from field details into Revit in accordance with REI Standards.
Lead modeling efforts on assigned scope
Setup of Revit views view templates and filters following Rosendin Standards.
Document progress of assigned work following project standards

Effective selfmanagement
Knowledge of Revit with the ability to create and manipulate views browser structure sheets schedules filters and similar
Give verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate constructable design documents
Ability to follow REI BIM processes procedures and standards including workflow
Ability to read2Dplans electronically or hard copy including onelines lighting schedules panel schedules and feeder schedules
Knowledge of industry standard software including but not limited to BlueBeam Autodesk Cloud products and NavisWorks.
Able to import documents such as spreadsheets photos images and word processing files into Revit projects
Type proofread spell check work without supervision
Understanding of working within Revit work sharing environments
Understanding of 3D coordination with other trade
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel etc.)
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks changing priorities as necessary
Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Strong solutionsoriented oral and written communication skills
Selfmotivated proactive and an effective team player
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees both management and staff alike
High school Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field
Minimum 2 years total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
Can be a combination of education training and relevant experience
General work environment sitting for long periods standing walking typing carrying pushing bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
