Kaleidoscope is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Modeler to develop and manage BIM models for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Revit MEP and Navisworks and a strong understanding of MEP design principles and interdisciplinary coordination.

• BIM Model Development: Create detailed 3D BIM models of MEP systems using Revit MEP and Navisworks.

• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other teams to ensure spatial coordination and clash-free integration of MEP systems within the overall design.

• MEP Systems Design: Support in the design and layout of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems as per codes standards and project specifications.

• Clash Detection & Resolution: Perform clash detection and resolve model conflicts to ensure constructability and proper system coordination.

• Quantity Takeoff & Cost Estimation: Use BIM models for accurate quantity extraction and preliminary cost estimation of MEP components.

• Model Management & Documentation: Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle ensuring organized documentation version control and creation of as-built models.

• BIM Standards Compliance: Adhere to project-specific BIM protocols and stay informed on evolving industry standards and best practices in MEP modeling.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proficient in BIM software platforms such as Revit MEP AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks.

• Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and plumbing design principles and construction methods.

• Experience in BIM model development and management for MEP systems in construction projects.

• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASHRAE NFPA IPC).
