About the Opportunity

Northeastern Universitys College of Professional Studies invites applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach in the Master or Professional Studies Analytics located on-ground in Portland ME.

Responsibilities:

Instructional areas included but arenot limited to analytics with particular expertise in probability and statistics data exploration data visualization database management systems leadership and risk management in analytics business support andpredictive analytics. The mission of the Master of Professional Studies in Analytics program is to foster foundational analytics skills among working professionals including preparing data conducting data analysis forecasting optimization data visualization and data storytelling. This degree prepares students for entry and mid-levelroles in analytics such as data analyst data specialist database analyst program analyst research analyst or research associate. These roles are general analyst roles and are not specific to any particular professional domains or disciplines (e.g. business marketing and engineering). The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linkedto professional applications in the workforce.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualification: Masters in an aligned discipline and analytics-industry experience.

Preference for candidates with a PhD in a sciences field or similar.

Demonstration of teaching coaching and/or training is required with a history of successful teaching (online/on ground) at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
