General Summary/Objective:
The Sales Director reports to the EVP of Operations. The Sales Director will have a deep business contact network to leverage and must be accountable for tracking managing and achieving BRANYs monthly/quarterly/ annual sales goals for BRANYs central IRB service line. Success will be measured based on meeting the following criteria.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Education required:
Bachelors degree: advanced degree preferred
Experience Required:
A minimum of 5 years experience executing sales strategies in the research market including pharmaceutical biotech or life sciences industry
Qualifications:
Knowledge of regulations that govern institutional review board (IRB) activities preferred
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals. Describes oneself as having a hunter sales persona
Demonstrated strong leadership qualities
Deep network of business contacts in pharm biotech CRO IRB or other related industries
Superior oral and written communicator
Ability to spot and respond to problems and opportunities quickly
Creates effective sales strategies
Experienced at developing sales presentations proposals and responding to requests for proposal (RFPs)
Strong computer skills including MS office CRM and use of custom databases
Understands and supports/drives profit goals for the company
Working knowledge of clinical research sales promotion and all current digital advertising programs

Physical Demands and Environment:
This position operates in an office environment using standard office equipment. It is largely a deskbound role. The position requires the individual to see talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands fingers and reach with hands and arms.

Salary/Exempt Status:
$85000 $95000/Exempt/Eligible for commission
