QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or Associates degree networking and/or hardware industry certifications such as Microsoft CompTIA A/N or similar
- Experience providing enduser technical support including hardware and software deployment troubleshooting and onboarding new users.
- Experience in working with multiple clients and supervisors
- Recommended by ESC Executive Director
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the board of directors
CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all personal timekeeping travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position.
- Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job.
- Report for work ready to perform responsibilities.
- Support the mission goals and objectives of the ESC.
- Uphold and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC.
- Perform professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies processes and procedures.
- Meet proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor.
- Incorporate appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor.
- Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology Services
DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to handle and complete multiple projects simultaneously and by a deadline.
- Demonstrate positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Be willing to work as a member of a team but also independently.
- Ability to handle constructive criticism in a positive manner.
- Keep Director of Technology Services advised of all pertinent department business and projects.
- Attend all departmental staffmeetings and general staff meetings.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide daily A/V support for ESC events held in conference rooms conference centers and computer labs.
- Maintain hardware and software of labs and presentation stations.
- Assist individual employees with hardware and software needs as requested through ESC ticket system.
- Maintain equipment inventory and department storage.
- Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting core network functions of the ESC including Active Directory administration DNS DHCP switch configurations wireless support
- Provide technical assistance with videoconferencing including scheduling and recording requested events.
- Update help desk tickets regularly.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Special aasignments as assigned by Director of Technology Services and/or Executive Director
- Up to 226 working days.
- This is an atwill employment position.
- In the event of an economic slump a reductioninforce may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
