Job Description
Glen Raven a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics is currently seeking a Production Operations Section Leader for a 12 hour night shift position in our manufacturing facility.
** The hours for Section Leader roles are either 7pm7am 7:30pm7:30am or 8pm8am working on a NONROTATING 223 Schedule**
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead Daily Operations in the department for the entire shift team and coordinate with other departments as required.
- Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates.
- Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition
- Immediately report any work related injury to your Department Manager
- Lead Shift Meetings as needed
- Take Responsibility to Manage and Delegate any tasks that need to be accomplished and do not have an owner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role is strongly preferred.
- Textile Manufacturing experience or General Manufacturing experience preferred.
- MS Office (Word Outlook and Excel)
- A leader in Safety and Quality among peers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to speak in a public setting.
- Ability to multitask and handle varied manufacturing functions and priorities.
- Strong bias for action
