Join our Facilities team as a Journey Level Electrician and help serve the people that serve the people! Be a key player in maintaining 160 buildings across the County by tackling a full range of electrical duties and collaborating with diverse teams to solve complex issues. Were looking for someone with kind and considerate customer service excellent communication and experience with fastpaced trouble shooting.

Additional Information:

This recruitment may be used to fill fulltime parttime temporary limited duration and oncall positions.

Type of Position: This hourly unionrepresented position is eligible overtime.

Schedule: TuesdayFriday 6:00am4:30pm or MondayFriday 6:00am2:30pm

Definitions:

Operationally Essential Position: Employees who have been designated as operationally essential (Essential) are required to report for duty regardless of facility closure or curtailment of some or all County operations.

Inclement Weather and Disasters

Serving the Public Even During Disasters

Everyday Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather natural disaster or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses while typically there begins with a call for volunteers county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
