Coach: HeadVolleyball RiversideHigh School
This position startsAugust 18 2025.
Although the official fall season doesnt start until August of 2025 there will be various activities planning and interactions which will take place prior to the season as part of preparation.
Start Date: August 18 2025 Riverside High School seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as the Head Volleyball Coach. This coach will be the Head Coach of the program although in theschool year the team will be competing at a subvarsity level.
Riverside High School: Riverside is the newest comprehensive high school in the West LinnWilsonville School District. We are a school of choice for all students within the district. We are a 3A OSAA Athletic Program and will play subvarsity (JV) level for theschool year with plans to build into varsity programs.
A successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
Previous Head Coaching experience preferred.
High ethical and professional standards.
A thorough knowledge of Volleyball skill development and coaching techniques.
The presence to be a role model for student athletes and the public face of the program.
A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement for all studentathletes in the program.
Demonstrate ability to lead young athletes.
A highly tuned ability to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
Skill in organization time management and public relations.
Employ good judgment in a variety of situations including emergencies.
The Riverside Head VolleyballCoach will be responsible for the following:
Recruit studentathletes into the Volleyball program.
Develop and implement an offseason program for athletics.
Advocate for multisport athletes
Provide regular communication with parents/families.
Regularly track the academic process of all student athletes in the program and facilitate necessary supports to ensure their academic eligibility.
Work effectively and collaborate with other athletic programs to ensure off season/summer opportunities.
Cooperate with other schoolsponsored sports and encourage athletes to compete in other programs.
Hold all student athletes and coaching staff to high expectations.
Help develop the youth program below 9th grade level.
Work with local media as needed and establish strong working relationships with community support groups.
