Job Description
The Software Engineer role in Tricentis provides you a unique opportunity to work on an impressive technology landscape involving many of the most popular tools and cloud platforms of today. You will utilize your skills and expertise to extend our product capabilities by designing and developing features using the latest technologies and best practices. Closely communicate with team members and Product Owner to understand the expectation and goal of business
Responsibilities:
Develop a stateoftheart product that helps our customers with their data testing needs
You are responsible for all parts of the software development process: requirements analysis implementation test maintenance etc.
Particular focus is on performance scalability & security
Work with opensource and enterprisegrade databases/products
Continuous learning and improvement of your and our way of working is part of your daily business
Take ownership of the testing and quality of your code
Continually contribute to and challenge decisions made by the team to ensure the best outcome for our organization
Teach and openly learn from your teammates
Qualifications:
35 years of software development experience in Python/TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience working in an agile development team.
Attention to detail and the ability to translate business requirements into product solutions.
Overview of current trends in backend development.
Be comfortable with change: we are building very new products and continuously evaluating our alignment with customer needs and internal stakeholders. Sometimes we will need to pivot and get back to the drawing board.
Getyourhandsdirty attitude: you are not afraid to pick up a new technology library or pattern and get productive with it quickly if needed.
Proven experience in producing highquality code and implementing engineering best practices.
Algorithm/AI Expertise:
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing classification algorithms to solve complex problems.
Handson experience with processing and working with HTML trees to extract and structure data.
Expertise in building decisionmaking systems that integrate advanced logic into software solutions.
Familiarity with leveraging large language models (LLMs) to enhance functionality and decision support.
If youve got some of these skills even better:
Experience with DevOps pipelines.
Experience with React.
Experience with Node.
