Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Operations Systems Administrator supports the deployment configuration and ongoing maintenance of the L2L (Lean to Lead) platform and related production systems. This role is key in integrating shop floor technologies including PLCs and other data sources with enterpriselevel platforms to ensure accurate realtime information flow. The position also supports continuous improvement efforts by leveraging SQL data visualization tools and lowcode/nocode platforms to optimize performance and drive datadriven decisionmaking. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation excellent communication and facilitation skills and thrives in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 24year degree in Engineering Information Systems Industrial Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in manufacturing systems production technology or continuous improvement roles
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data handling
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Windows MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Handson experience with L2L or other MES platforms
  • Proficiency in building dashboards or reports using Power BI Tableau or similar tools
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or other CI methodologies

Position Duties and Responsibilities / % Time Spent

  • Support configuration and administration of L2L and related systems: 40%
  • Assist with system integrations involving PLCs and data platforms: 10%
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and datadriven projects: 20%
  • Build and maintain reports dashboards and data visualizations: 15%
  • Provide system support troubleshooting and basic user training: 10%
  • Document system processes and improvements: 5%

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable using or learning lowcode platforms for automation and process improvement
  • Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced handson manufacturing environment

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Safety and Environmental Management:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

Software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Preferred: L2L or other MES platforms (Ignition Plex FactoryTalk) Tableau SQL Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power BI Power Automate)

Essential to Job Functions:

  • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
  • Standing walking and bending for the duration of the work day
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
