DescriptionThe Supervisor Warehouse plans organizes and monitors the receiving storage and distribution of equipment supplies and products ensuring a smooth and consistent operations.
This position serves our Rheem Parts Division supporting the West Valley City UTlocation.
Responsibilities- Oversees warehouse schedules budgets and project deliverables.
- Provides direct supervision over warehouse staff.
- Provides performance feedback coaching and mentoring.
- Accomplishes warehouse objectives by selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining employees
- Communicating job expectations
- Planning monitoring appraising job contributions
- Adhering to policies and procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing policies and processes as it pertains to material movement throughout the manufacturing organization.
- Responsible for moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse
- Coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Responsible for maintaining and controlling inventory accuracy to ensure optimum levels while continuing to improve line fills on orders for the manufacturing organization.
- Works closely with Operations Materials Customer Service and freight carriers to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Identifies recommends and implements process improvements.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience in supervising hourly employees.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills teamwork proven leadership abilities and excellent problem solving skills.
- Must possess superior planning decisionmaking use of staff service and motivation skills.
- Must possess good judgment planning and analytical skills with the ability to engage team members to support significant shop floor change.
- Ability to organize and deliver effective training tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to interact and work in a distribution centerfloor environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office to include Word and Excel.
HOW TO STAND OUT
- Bachelors degree in Operations or related field
- Certified lift truck experience preferred.
- ERP system knowledge such as Oracle or SAP.
- Experience in a unionized environment.
- Spanish speaking
