Job Description

Description

The Supervisor Warehouse plans organizes and monitors the receiving storage and distribution of equipment supplies and products ensuring a smooth and consistent operations.

This position serves our Rheem Parts Division supporting the West Valley City UTlocation.



Responsibilities
  • Oversees warehouse schedules budgets and project deliverables.
  • Provides direct supervision over warehouse staff.
  • Provides performance feedback coaching and mentoring.
  • Accomplishes warehouse objectives by selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining employees
  • Communicating job expectations
  • Planning monitoring appraising job contributions
  • Adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing policies and processes as it pertains to material movement throughout the manufacturing organization.
  • Responsible for moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse
  • Coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining and controlling inventory accuracy to ensure optimum levels while continuing to improve line fills on orders for the manufacturing organization.
  • Works closely with Operations Materials Customer Service and freight carriers to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Identifies recommends and implements process improvements.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Experience in supervising hourly employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills teamwork proven leadership abilities and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Must possess superior planning decisionmaking use of staff service and motivation skills.
  • Must possess good judgment planning and analytical skills with the ability to engage team members to support significant shop floor change.
  • Ability to organize and deliver effective training tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to interact and work in a distribution centerfloor environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office to include Word and Excel.

HOW TO STAND OUT

  • Bachelors degree in Operations or related field
  • Certified lift truck experience preferred.
  • ERP system knowledge such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
  • Spanish speaking
