JOB SUMMARY

Under supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides individual family and group therapy to youth and families. Provides crisis intervention clinical assessment direct service and referrals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current license in the State of Utah as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) Certified Social Worker Intern (CSWi) Certified Professional Counselor Intern (CPCI) Associate Professional Counselor (APC) Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACHMC); Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI).

Incumbents with a CSWi licensure must obtain a CSW license within 90 days or provide written documentation from DOPL of an extension.

Due to the nature of this position the successful applicant must pass a required preemployment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

Must possess a valid Utah drivers license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Applicants must be prepared to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

* Performs clinical assessments develops crisis and treatment plans based on the assessment tracks and modifies the plan as required.
* Provides direct clinical services including crisis intervention short term individual family and group counseling.
* Provides case management which may include coordinating and linking families to community resources consulting with other providers and making referrals as needed.
* Completes case documentation and all required reports in the appropriate format and in a timely manner.
* Comply with codes of professional ethics; strictly follow agency policies procedures and code of conduct.
