Job Description:

The Manager Human Resources serves as an expert HR Professional to hiring departments leads oversees and supervises the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding (TA&O) Operations team plans develops manages and oversees talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies; serves as expert for reporting and tracking using the Applicant Tracking System; stays abreast of the latest trends and resources; assists hiring departments to determine the best venues to source candidates develops strategies in support of attracting both active and passive candidates ensure fair and equitable hiring practices are adhered to and implement practices that improve the overall candidate experience.

  • Serve as an expert consultant coach and organizational change leader regarding talent acquisition. Develop positive recruitment experience for applicants. Review job requisitions to ensure job announcements are accurate grammatically correct and posted appropriately on UF Careers (and in other posting venues) to attract qualified applicants. Recommend costeffective options in sourcing for qualified diverse applicants. Evaluate application materials to ensure compliance with state and federal laws UFs policies and procedures and regulations. Advise on the best methods for assessing candidates. Recommend best approach to onboarding new employees.
  • Represent the hiring department for the recruitment process lifecycle. Assist in implementing a resultdriven comprehensive recruitment plan consistent with the vision of TA&O UF HR and UF. Serve as expert in reporting and tracking data using the applicant tracking system. Advise on best practices for conducting interviews and assessments based on the hiring departments needs.
  • Manage posting activities to ensure minimal timetooffer timeframe and optimal hire quality through generating reports and providing summarized recruitment data to hiring departments. Review applicants advise departments on potential hires and clear finalists. Serve as expert on the coordination of required screenings past employment employment verification and education verification and provide support to campus partners on related matters in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Facilitate and lead projects that improve or enhance the talent acquisition process including (but not limited to) workforce analysis and pipeline.
  • Provide problemsolving services to employees and/or supervisors. Assist (as needed) in resolving employment issues. Work cooperatively with Classification and Compensation (C&C) and other UFHR departments to ensure compliance with UFs policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest industry and recruitment trends. Provide strategic input into research development evaluation and the implementation of new products services and technology to enhance UFs faculty and staff recruitment program.
Expected Salary:

$75000 $78000
