Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) $23.41 (midpoint) $28.09(maximum)
Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) $26.15 (midpoint) $31.38 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark If youre a Test Technician we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring a Operations Technician focusing on NonDestructive Testing to support our Loves Park Campus in Loves Park IL on 1st shift. This position will be responsible for testing critical components to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
What You Will Be Doing
Inspecting and validating hardware per applicable processes (e.g. magnetic particle ultrasonic radiography radioscopy load tests casting inspection penetrate inspection).
Writing NonConformance Reports (NCRs) to document findings that do not align with customer or company specifications
Completing necessary paperwork and document results via company specific and MS programs and systems.
Collaborating and working with engineering maintenance and leadership groups to keep projects flowing through to finish updating status and instructions as needed.
Reading and interpreting blueprints on a regular basis to complete testing procedures
Completing courses training and testing to become validated in company processes
Setting up and operating various testing equipment/stands including but not limited to Xray magnetic particle vapor degreaser florescent penetration etc.
What We Are Looking For
Level 1:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired
Level 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
12 months or more in a nondestructive testing or similar role is strongly preferred
Physical Activities:
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Ability to stand for entire shift.
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
