Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Specialist III where youll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate inventory management and driving inventory continuous improvement initiatives. What will you do
- Develop implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
- Lead and coordinate the cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
- Analyze cycle count results to identify patterns trigger recounts and advance process deviations.
- Reconcile weekly WIP locations and maintain auditready records.
- Investigate and document inventory discrepancies using all available systems and data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Work crossfunctionally to implement process improvements that improve location and itemlevel accuracy while supporting efficiency goals.
- Ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures at both central and branch warehouse locations.
- Monitor interwarehouse and store transfers to ensure accuracy and costeffectiveness.
- Resolve inventoryrelated issues including discrepancies in receiving accounting and item movement.
- Prepare and deliver inventory performance reports to management and the site leader highlighting key issues and recommending corrective action.
- Support inventoryrelated improvement initiatives to drive accuracy efficiency and sustainability.
How will you get here:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelors degree in Inventory Management Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 24 years of experience in inventory control functions.
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles and standard methodologies.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with data/reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
- Must possess excellent math skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required.
