Head of Service for EUV is based in Oregon and is responsible as line manager for EHS Head of EUV Project Coordination Head of EUV Service AZ Head of EUV Service TX and special function US. This position is the Site Lead for Oregon.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the EUV operation in the US
  • Work and manage in compliance with all safety requirements
  • Drive develop and execute the companys EUV business strategy in the US
  • Ensure and maintain profitability and sustainability and being responsible for the financial performance of the local EUV organization
  • Ensure and maintain the teams compliance with federal state and local laws and regulations.
  • Lead coach and mentor the local EUV supervisor / management team as well as the other direct reports to ensure personal and technical development.
  • Ensure success of the local organization in attracting hiring and retention of high performing personnel.
  • Supervise direct evaluate and improve performance of Line managers Supervisors Trainers Coordinators and Field Service Engineers
  • Ensure technical phone and tele diagnostics support to customers distributors and Field Service Engineers
  • Ensure optimal scheduling of sustaining support service calls installations and upgrades/retrofits utilizing both internal and external resources
  • Effectively accommodate customer needs for service tools and parts
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously closing all open issues
  • Resolve difficult customer issues with professional sensitivity
  • Accurately report and address technical conditions and information of machines
  • Maintain ownership of responsibilities
  • Work in coordination with Managers at TLSM with minimal supervision
  • Improve servicemix
  • Clearly and professionally interact with customers while providing exceptional customer service
  • Main duties as customer contact
    • Direct TRUMPF support & interface to ASML Customer Service link to TRUMPFHeadquarter
    • Attend all necessary meetings in person or by telecommunicating
    • Supervise and coordinate support shift schedules (24/7 shift schedules 16/7 shift schedules etc.)
    • Supervise and coordinate installations and retrofits/upgrades
    • Supervise and coordinate escalations
    • Work directly with customers to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerances
    • Hands on support at end customers if required
  • Details of common supervisor duties
    • Timecards service reports expense reports PTO Requests/Approvals Supervisor/Manager on call review/approve schedules coach employees Performance Reviews schedule/plan training. Complete and submit ESNs (shift changes moves etc.) attend management and service meetings interview candidates both on the phone and in person
  • Help to develop or modify existing technical and organizational documentation
  • Participate in management oncall duties during weekends and as needed

Travel

  • Up to 50% travel; as needed to support business and service responsibilities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering field or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • Minimum of four years previous experience in the Service department or equivalent Drive Laser departments
  • Minimum of two years of experience in personnel management
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
