Offender Registry Assistant Part Time Please complete a job application on our job portal at Purpose and Objectives: The position is responsible for performing specialized technical work for the Reno County Sheriffs Department. This position is responsible for registering persons who are required to register with the Sheriff pursuant to the Kansas Offender Registration Act. An employee in this classification must use considerable initiative and judgment in interpreting or adapting policies procedures and applicable guidelines. Work in this classification involves the use of independent judgment and is performed under general supervision. Personal conduct and behavior (on duty as well as off) must be such that it does not bring disrepute or unnecessarily endanger the publics trust or confidence in the agency or its members. - High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Certifications / Licenses: - Must possess a valid Kansas drivers license.
- CIC Full Access Certification.
