Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support the Finance function within a market providing financial advice and guidance to brand teams in support of the achievement of market revenue and profit targets.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Provides senior management with timely analysis intelligence and recommendations they need to make operational financial and strategic decisions
- Tracks performance against internal targets and external best practice making timely interventions at appropriate times
- Supports the Commercial Finance Director with the short and longterm budgetary planning and cost management for a market in alignment with global processes
- Supports the monthly financial reporting and analysis process
- Supports the Regional Operational Finance Director as necessary in terms of management of the ROFC escalation/resolution of issues and adherence to SLAs
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- CA/CMA with a minimum of 24 years of experience in Captive shared services /Industry handling accounting financial analysis planning & reporting.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Good analytical skills including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet review.
- Exposure to SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) & SAC would be an added advantage.
- A candidate who has an analytical bent of mind and provides insights when distributing a report or analysis & having the ability to tell the story behind the data in view.
- Strong understanding of the concept of materiality in terms of work performed and the audience it is to be presented to.
- Takes a topdown approach to analysis and investigation. Start from the highest level and go into the detail. Be aware of the big picture reason for the analysis and be able to come back to the high level after doing detailed work analysis
