Job Description
Macon R1 School District is looking to filla TitleParaprofessionalpositionfor theschool year.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 60 college hours
- Employment will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check and fingerprint check by the Missouri State Highway Patrol
Essential Job Functions:
- Participates in daily and longrange lesson planning
- Instructs small groups of students
- Prepares instructional materials and utilizes effective teaching strategies to support theindividual needs of students
- Uses time wisely is organized and works well with others
- Communicates effectively with the classroom teacher
- Maintains documentation on the progress of each student
- Attends training sessions and meetings as they occur
- Maintains order within small group instruction
- Implements technology as appropriate within the small group setting
- Performs other duties as assigned
