As a Business Program Manager youll tie the business to objectives within your supported business area program(s) to deliver value. Youll have a depth of knowledge in your business area that allows you to identify gaps provide a strategic vision and own the development and execution of solutions for the program(s) that you manage. Youll connect all relevant projects and initiativesgrowing fromwithin your business area and across the organization to a common set of goals and success measures focusing on dependencies key business metrics stakeholder alignment and execution management.
About the role
Use external research and internal knowledge to create industryleading solutions that drive our business forward
Manage scope by guiding the program vision objectives outcomes and highlevel work breakdown
Manage scheduling and milestones by developing and maintaining a comprehensive program plan that incorporates key milestones of all projects and initiatives
Identify key program success metrics and qualitative success criteria
Manage program quality by ensuring plans at all levels are aligned and up to date in a rapidly changing work environment
Maintain accurate and uptodate assets and resources related to the program
Manage communications timeline and execution ensuring all stakeholders are aware of communication progress
Manage roles and responsibilities by identifying documenting and engaging the right roles for the delivery of work within scope
Identify and document how the program scope impacts business process or technology
Manage risks and issues by identifying and escalating decisions at all levels to achieve results
Identify improvement opportunities and implement creative alternative approaches to solving issues and executing work
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for program level decision making
About you
Minimum qualifications
2 years of program or project management experience
Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent work experience
Experience with delivering a project or program with a high demand for frequent communication and acute attention to detail
Ability to set and manage partner and client expectations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization including executive leadership
Tactful diplomat problem solver thinker and analyzer
Ability to understand and respond to clients needs in rapidly changing business environments
Demonstrated ability to handle aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple workstreams
Experience with planning organizing and establishing priorities to achieve results
Ability to pivot to changing demands in a project or program environment that require replanning and reorganization
System thinking abilities and the ability to identify upstream and downstream business impacts because of changes implemented through program scope
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred qualifications
5 years of project management experience
Previous experience with enterprise level ecommerce platforms or digital procurement systems
Previous experience in corporate retail or the promotional goods industry
Ability to assess problems and solve them with a keen sense of urgency while thinking strategically and focusing on business growth
Ability to communicate and break down higherlevel complex business strategy
